Description
The Nila Jacket is a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted from an antique woven tablecloth in ecru, blue and earthy tones.
It has a short, straight silhouette with a round neckline, wide sleeves and two frog fastenings at the front. The placement of the motifs has been carefully considered to enhance each part of the garment: the pattern frames the shoulders, runs along the sleeves and also appears at the hem. Lace trim at the cuffs and lower edge completes the design.
Transforming an antique tablecloth into a jacket like this requires particularly meticulous work. Each piece is designed, cut and sewn individually, adapting to the available textile and finding the best composition for its original motifs.
Only one exists. No one else will have exactly the same jacket.
Wear it on its own or pair it with the Nila Collar Shawl, made from the same textile and sold separately, to completely transform the look.

As this is an upcycled creation made from an antique textile, it may show small marks, variations or signs of age. We do not consider these flaws, but traces of its history that add character and make the piece even more special.
